Rexford Asibuo is the founder and CEO of Imperial Ark Company Ltd in Ghana, a company that specializes in mining, trading of building materials, mobile apps and consulting services for foreign companies looking to enter the Ghanaian market. Imperial Ark currently owns 4 mid-scale gold concessions in Ghana. and is also a licensed gold exporter. Rexford once served as a local advisor to Russia-headquartered investment bank Renaissance Capital..
He’s also the local representative in Ghana to the Dubai-Headquartered investment and advisory firm Emerald Group as well as a local advisor in Ghana for Chinese investment firm Fosun International. Rexford has strategic relationships with several Ministries in Ghana as well as the directors of various state-owned enterprises.
Prior to founding Imperial Ark, Rexford was a consultant at Monurent Ghana Ltd (a company which specializes in renting out heavy duty equipment and offering technical support services to big mining and construction companies) . Before joining Monurent, Rexford spent two years as a lead financial analyst at Bearing Point Inc in Virginia, USA where his work covered clients in the mining and energy sectors.
Prior to Monurent, Rexford was a Portfolio Servicing Specialist at JP Morgan Chase Bank’s asset management unit in Newark, Delaware in the USA for over 2 years where he helped analyze and offer support services in investments in municipal bonds and private placement securities.
Mr Asibuo holds a bachelors degree in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA in finance and strategic management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
